THE WHAT?  Marcelo Claure, former CEO of SoftBank Group Worldwide and present investor, has been appointed SHEIN’s Group Vice Chairman.

THE DETAILS Claure joined SHEIN in January 2023 as Chairman of SHEIN Latin America. Throughout his tenure, he launched the SHEIN Market in Brazil and directed a US$150 million funding to shift SHEIN’s manufacturing to Brazil. He’ll retain his place as Chairman of SHEIN Latin America whereas taking up the duties of the Group Vice Chairman, collaborating with SHEIN’s CEO, Sky Xu, and Govt Chairman, Donald Tang.
