THE WHAT? Unilever has opened a world Synthetic Intelligence (AI) Laboratory in Toronto, Canada. The UK-based FMCG large’s new facility has been dubbed Horizon3 Labs and is celebration of a wider funding in tech throughout the enterprise.

THE DETAILS The placement was chosen for its easy accessibility to ‘vibrant tech expertise’, in line with a report printed by Inside Logistics. The group primarily based at Horizon3 Labs will construct on the Dove producer’s present use of AI and machine studying.

THE WHY? Andy Hill, Chief Knowledge Officer, instructed Inside Logistics, “Unilever is making a big funding in creating and deploying AI know-how throughout the enterprise, and the launch of Unilever’s AI Lab will expedite the progress we’re making globally and allow us to have the best deal with know-how innovation.”
